Lewisburg, WV - S.J. Neathawk lumber Company, Inc. was founded in 1947 by S.J. Neathawk on Route 219 in Lewisburg, WV. He began the business by selling local native lumber, which he graded and surfaced, to local builders and furniture manufacturers. As the demand for other materials grew, Mr. Neathawk was able to quickly and efficiently meet those needs. In 2001, the company built a new location on Route 219 North, which has 125,000 sq. ft. under roof and has 20,000 sq. ft. for hardware, tools, paint, windows and doors, kitchen and bath, floor coverings, interior home items, a special area for contractor sales and a showroom. This location serves the Greenbrier Valley and surrounding areas including, Pocahontas, Monroe, Summers, Mercer and Raleigh counties, in southern West Virginia. The company is operated by Janet Neathawk, daughter of S.J. Neathawk, and her two sons, Doug Goodwin and Sean Goodwin.
